Quit Smoking FAQ1. How does Quit smoking in 60 minutes work? Through the use of safe advanced hypnotherapeutic techniques to effect positive changes in your mind as well as the use of advanced NLP processes. Recognised by the Australian Medical Association, hypnotherapy is the only effective, craving-free and permanent way to become a non-smoker. We will discuss your smoking habit and the hypnotherapy will then help you to permanently change your attitude towards the habit, making your transition to becoming a non-smoker a smooth one. Hypnotherapy is simply a heightened state of awareness that enables your conscious and unconscious mind to better communicate. You see, your conscious mind tells you that the time is right for you to become a non-smoker. That is why you are here. But your unconscious mind (which controls the smoking habit) has, in the past, placed mental obstacles in the way of this conscious desire. That is why you have always failed to quit before, whichever technique you may have tried. You’ve heard the expression “If you put your mind to it, you can do anything”, Hypnotherapy helps you to put your mind to it. 2. Will I be asleep? Will I hear everything? Some people think that when you are hypnotised you “go somewhere else”, will be asleep and / or that you won’t be able to hear. These are misconceptions. Yes, you will feel relaxed, pleasantly so. In fact you may feel more relaxed than you ever have before. But mentally you will always remain right where you are. The feeling is similar to that wonderful feeling you have at night or in the morning when you are between being awake and being asleep. You’re not fully awake, yet if you heard an unfamiliar noise you would immediately come to attention to investigate. When you are being hypnotised you will hear every single word that I say. If you couldn’t, the treatment would not work. 3. How can this take just one hour? Change happens in an instant. You have already made the decision to quit. All we are doing is making that decision a true part of you. In fact, it’s somewhat true to say we offer a program where you stop smoking in a “moment.” But we need the rest of the time to prepare your mind to make the change permanent. 4. Can anyone be hypnotised? Everyone of average intelligence or above can be guided into the hypnotic state providing they are willing, receptive and open minded to the treatment. 5. What are the breathing exercises and do I really have to do them? For this treatment to work you must agree to undertake some easy, simple breathing exercises for a few days after our 60 minute session. This is not optional! 6. Why do I need to want to quit for myself? Some smokers believe that they genuinely “enjoy” smoking too much to quit or that it gives them some other perceived benefit (i.e. style, sex appeal, “coolness” etc). I cannot help smokers who do not want to quit. Nothing can “overpower” your free will. I can and do help people who have a desire to quit. I help them achieve their goal quickly, cheaply, healthily and with no negative effects. Perhaps your wife, husband, children, partner or other important person, wants you to quit? Ask yourself this question. “If this person did not want me to quit, would I still want to be a non-smoker for myself?” Be honest. If you decide that there is a large part of you that wants to quit for yourself then this will work for you. 7. Are there any hidden or repeat costs? None whatsoever! 8. Is Quit smoking in 60 minutes a permanent solution? Yes. With this method you will become a permanent non-‐smoker. Non-‐smokers do not need to fight any urge to smoke; neither do they want to smoke because smoking is not a part of them. Smoking will no longer be a part of you. Of course it is possible for you to deliberately sabotage your own achievement by willfully smoking in order to “prove” that this method did not work. However if you really are committed to quitting, you would dismiss such a self-destructive idea. 9. Can I smoke a last cigarette before I begin? Everyone prepares in different ways. If you feel you need a cigarette in order to “say goodbye” then by all means, go ahead. 10. Common Fears "I’m afraid I’ll gain weight if I stop smoking." "I’m afraid of failing to quit (again)." "I’m so addicted now, nothing can help me." "I’ll be so nervous when I quit, I’ll fidget all the time." Every smoker has experienced such thoughts. These fears are not unique to you. You have no cause to worry. Each of these fears is specifically discussed and tackled in your discussions with me. Nothing will be a barrier to your goal of becoming a non-‐smoker. Any fear that you have about quitting seems inconsequential compared to the true fear of potentially developing lung cancer or heart disease for someone who remained a smoker. 11. I’m a seriously heavy smoker – will this work for me? Or I’ve been smoking for years – will this work for me? Whether you smoke 1, 10, or 1000 cigarettes a day, whether you started 50 years ago or yesterday, as long as you want to quit this will work for you. You will experience no cravings and the guaranteed outcome is the same. Permanent smoking cessation! 12. I only smoke occasionally or in social situations. I’m not really a ’smoker’. The dangers of smoking are enormous. Smoking kills hundreds of thousands of people each year. YOU do not have special immunity. Smoking can kill you. 13. Please explain the guarantee. The process is 98.6% successful in the first session the remainder become non-smokers in a free follow up session. So here is my guarantee. If you ever start smoking cigarettes again in the next twelve months following your session, I will do one follow up session at no charge to help you quit cigarettes, for good!

What is the Virtual Gastric Band? The Virtual Gastric Band is a remarkable weight loss program pioneered by Sheila Granger in the UK . As the name suggests, the system utilises the concept of a “virtual” gastric band and Clinical Hypnotherapy. It successfully harnesses the power that every individual holds within them to make changes to their lives. Many clients have benefited from Virtual Gastric Band therapy The Virtual Gastric Band is a non-surgical technique which uses the power of hypnosis to retrain you to be satisfied with smaller amounts of food. The clinical hypnotherapy convinces the brain that the stomach is full after a certain level of intake, and that there is no need for more food. Virtual gastric band is like ‘flicking a switch in the brain’. It changes your attitude towards food and helps you regain control over cravings and bad habits. Weight is lost naturally and consistently without dieting. This system is very safe and delivers predictable results that carries ZERO risk. The most important thing about the virtual gastric band in comparison to the actual gastric band is that the virtual version deals with the issues in a person’s mind and their relationship with food. Having a foreign body inside your stomach simply does not deal with the psychological factors. A bariatric surgery patient can still overeat and burst the band and they have to eat a pureed diet. With the virtual band, if you find you are eating too much, the band can be tightened under hypnotherapy. There is no invasive surgery and it’s treating the psychological problems, not just the physical.
